Who we are

Mathalogue is run by EduArc AI Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 16014001), with its registered office at 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE. We are responsible for your information.

What we collect

When you take the placement test: your child's first name, school year and age, the competitions they are preparing for and their answers, your email, and, if you give it, a WhatsApp number or WeChat ID.

If your child joins a course: attendance, homework, class notes, reports and payment records. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see them.

Why we use it

To mark the test and send you the score and Gordon's report, and, if your child joins, to run the course and keep you updated.

We email you about other courses and the problem of the week only if you ticked the box to say yes. You can stop these emails at any time.

Who sees it

Gordon and his teaching assistants. To run the site we use Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email) and Stripe (payments). They handle the information only on our instructions. We never sell it.

Our database is in the UK (London).

How long we keep it

If your child does not join a course, we delete the test details after 3 months. Learning records (homework, class notes and reports) are kept for two years after the course ends, and class recordings for 3 months. Payment records are kept for six years, as UK tax law requires.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner, except what we must keep by law.

Children

Our students are children, so we ask for as little as we can: a first name, not a full name, and no date of birth or school. Parents give the contact details.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your family's information, or object to how we use it, by emailing gordon.ta@eduarc.app. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
